What He Does at Pentegra:
Jose provides retirement plan education and enrollment meetings for participants nationwide. In this role he works with clients to develop targeted employee education and enrollment presentations designed to build employee awareness and appreciation for retirement savings programs and provide participants with the knowledge needed to make smart and strategic retirement savings and investment decisions.

What He Likes Best About His Job:
Jose enjoys helping participants on the SmartPathTM to creating successful retirement outcomes. Knowledge is power, and seeing the “lightbulb” go off during educational meetings is one of the most rewarding parts of his job.
What He Was To Before Joining Pentegra:
Jose has almost 20 years of experience in the retirement and financial services industries. Prior to joining Pentegra, he was a Retirement Specialist with SunTrust Bank, where he developed and presented education workshops, seminars and webinars. Educating participants was also key to his role as an Employee Education Consultant at Mercer, where he worked previously. Prior to that, he served as a Client Relationship manager with Putnam Investments.
He Got His Start At:
Johnson & Wales University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and an Associate of Science degree in Management.
